David D’eon

USSU President

The moment I started my term as USSU President, Ryan reached out to hear my concerns and ideas. We spoke about access to education in the north, the rising costs of post-secondary education, mental health services, and adequate housing for students.

Ryan's platform presents a vision for us to move beyond adequate towards exceptional, and I’m thrilled to see Ryan talk about a stable funding model that will allow students to successfully plan for their future. He recognizes the role that education plays in a healthy and thriving province, and has had the courage to push forward a genuinely progressive agenda that challenges the norms of what we expect from our government.
